Gotham Girls FC Travel Team Tryouts for 2011-2012 Season

Tryout registration for the 2011-2012 season is now open. All tryout participants have to register online.

Gotham Girls FC is the only soccer club in the New York City area whose sole focus is the development of female players. The Club’s top flight professional coaching staff has a uniquely positive child-centered approach to teaching and competition, with the goals of instilling love for the game, and helping girls reach their full potential as players and people.

GGFC is committed to long-term success for its athletes. For the youngest, coaches emphasize skills, decision-making, and creativity. Girls who play for GGFC are given the tools and opportunities to compete at the highest level in a safe and fun environment.

For those who wish to play collegiate soccer, GGFC focuses on college showcases and communication with college coaches. GGFC is proud to be affiliated with the Women’s pro Soccer League Sky Blue FC, a relationship that includes special camp, game-day and training opportunities for our aspiring athletes.

Travel Teams Practice Schedule for 2011/2012 Season

As of May 31, 2011 the schedule is as follows:

GGFC U10 teams-
Fall and Spring Practice days Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 7pm, WYSL Games on Sundays

GGFC U11 teams-
Fall and Spring Practice days Monday and Thursday from 5:30 to 7pm, WYSL Games on Sundays

GGFC U12 Power-
Fall Practice days Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30-7pm, WYSL Games on Sundays
Spring Practice days Tuesday and Friday from 5:30-7pm, WYSL Games on Sundays

GGFC U13 Magic-
Fall Practice days Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8:30pm, WYSL Games on Sundays
Spring Practice days Tuesday and Friday from 7-8:30pm, WYSL Games on Sundays

GGFC U14 Bulldogs-
Fall Practice days Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8:30pm, WYSL Games on Sundays
Spring Practice days Tuesday from 7-8:30pm, and Friday 6-7:30pm, WYSL Games on Sundays

GGFC U15 Stars-
Fall Practice days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 7-8:30pm, WYSL Games on Sundays
Spring Practice days Tuesday, Wednesday from 7-8:30pm, Friday 6-7:30pm, WYSL Games on Sundays

GGFC U17 Rebels-
Fall Practice days Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8:30pm. There will also be a Saturday team tactical session during September and October in preparation for the November and December college showcases. Some other scrimmages may be arranged.
Spring Practice days Tuesday from 7-8:30pm, and Friday 6-7:30pm, WYSL League Games on Sundays, College showcases March and Memorial Day.

GGFC U18 Chargers
Fall Practice days Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8:30pm. There will also be a Saturday team tactical session during September and October in preparation for the November and December college showcases. Some other weekend scrimmages may be arranged.
Spring Practice days Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8:30pm, President’s League Games on Sundays, College showcases March and Memorial Day.
