Having been selected for a professional soccer academy at Peterborough United FC aged 10, I spent 6 wonderful years developing and learning my trade. From there I went onto play at Cambridge City FC as part of my college education.
From college I went onto play at various semi professional clubs in the UK as well as playing I was employed with Premier Sport to develop soccer and youth sports programs in schools aged for children 4-12 years. I worked with many sports and soccer clubs in the Cambridgeshire area. Having many years of coaching in schools, professional and semi professional clubs in the UK I took the step into US youth soccer with the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer. Part of my responsibility with the club was working with soccer clubs in the New York and New Jersey area acting as a development officer for that club. Fortunately I was placed with the fantastic clubs DUSC and GGFC which had led into a full time position working with both clubs.
I take pride on delivering sessions and programs maximizing the development opportunities of all players I come in contact with.
Coaching philosophy: My first goal, when coaching players of any age, is to develop their love and passion for the game by delivering fun, energetic, and engaging sessions. I will always deliver sessions which are designed to fulfill the individual and team developmental needs and goals set. I believe through soccer we can develop not only players but PEOPLE and with this in mind I set high standards of my players to reach their full potential and encourage them to play the game at the highest level.
